History
Verhoex, which was founded in 1963, is a company based in Venlo, the Netherlands. We have more than 45 years of experience as a customs agent. In 1992 (after the opening of the European borders) the company developed further in Europe. At that time, within Europe, direct customs forwarding was no longer being undertaken, yet the company grew steadily and focussed on customs activities from and to Eastern Europe, Switzerland, Turkey, the seaports of Rotterdam, Antwerp and Hamburg and the airports Amsterdam-Schiphol and Maastricht Aachen Airport.
Since its foundation, Verhoex has had its head office at the ‘Keulse Barrière’ on the German-Dutch border. There is also an office on the Venlo Trade Port industrial estate, adjacent to the ECT container terminal.
In the autumn of 2010 an office will be opening in Duisburg, Germany, adjacent to the water and rail terminals of the largest inland port in Europe.
